Special Attention on Scraper Conveyor Operation
It’s better to learn the characteristics of conveying materials before scraper conveyor is put into use, especially cannot convey these materials which have large shape, density and water content. Different conveyor type has its certain capacity, the conveying efficiency can reach the highest value when casing is filled with material. Improper operation will influence the output when using scraper conveyor. So we must pay attention to the following notes.
Points for attention before start-up
1.Inspect whether the retaining ring in the middle trough is in good connection.
2.Inspect whether oil mass in all needed lubricating parts is enough.
3.Inspect whether all bolts in head and tail are fixed.
4.Inspect tightness of scraper chain.
5.Inspect whether all cables are in good condition.
6.Inspect whether the sound is normal when running machine.
7.Please run the machine after above mentioned notes are checked.
Points for attention during operation
1.Please check the cooling water, reducer gearbox and motor temperature at any time during operation.
2.Please observe whether reducer gearbox and other rotating parts have abnormal sound.
3.It’s better to idle several cycles before turning off machine so as to benefit next maintenance and start-up.
4.Must observe whether there is chain jumping situation during operation machine, once happens, please stop machine and maintain it right away.
